Glee: The Super Powers RPG

2022. It’s been eleven years since a group of kids from Lima, Ohio learned that they’d somehow found themselves with super powers. It’s been ten since the first of those kids were released out into the world, trying their best to keep a handle on their powers and learn to navigate young adulthood. Those that had tried to take control of them had been mollified, they’d learned how to manage their abilities, and the last few years of their youth were theirs to cherish.

Now, though, things are about to change once again.

A strange sickness has been plaguing the US as of late, and although no one’s died, it’s proven to be debilitating, and recovery had been slow and painful. Quietly, it’s sending the CDC into a wild panic -- where is it even coming from? And why, exactly, are they having such a hard time getting victims to provide blood samples?

To those paying attention, the answer is clear. Faster than ever before, a network is being created. Those with abilities are discovering each other from across the country, all bound by the need to protect their own. Although the solution to the sickness isn’t clear, one thing is: it has to be stopped, and the best way to do it is together.

Only now, others are starting to notice the trend. A mass exodus isn’t exactly subtle, and questions are beginning to be asked. Something bigger is beginning, and only those spinning the cogs seem to know what it is.
