Things in Lima have been weird for a long time now. Almost 8 months ago, a weird electrical storm tore through Lima, destroying a statue that had been in place for sixty years. The statue served to protect the town from...unwanted attention by suppressing the supernatural abilities of the residents. After the storm, however, things changed. Teenagers started getting sick, and when it was over they were left with some very odd gifts. Some could see the future. Others could manipulate the elements. Not everyone appreciated the new powers, but they were starting to learn how to deal with them when another storm hit.

In February of 2012, another storm ripped through Lima leaving devastation in its wake. People were dead, or in comas. Others weren’t themselves at all. Memory loss and power switches led to a reign of chaos never seen before. A mysterious government agency arrived in town to try to control the damage. Those with destructive powers were taken from their homes and taught to manage their powers. Plans are in place to turn McKinley High into a training school for the affected teenagers. But are the plans of this government agency really as altruistic as they seem? Not everyone trusts that these people have their best interests at heart, but to get to the bottom of it they’re going to have to work together.

Super Glee has been running since August of 2011, and has recently undergone a shift in plot. It’s a great time to join in the fun, and knowledge of what went on in the game before this point is not strictly necessary to join. If you’re picking up a canon character who died in game, you can start from fresh ground. OC’s are welcome, and can be from McKinley or any of the surrounding schools. The only caveat to their receiving powers is that they have at least one close family member (parent, grandparent or aunt/uncle) that was born in Lima. All powered characters will now be attending McKinley High, which will serve as a school similar to Charles Xavier’s Academy in the XMen universe. The game summary and timeline will get you up to date on important information, and the players at Super Glee are all friendly and willing to help you settle in.
